Hear Me Speak!

A Hawk’s Well Theatre production funded by the Arts Council and Creative Ireland.

Hear Me Speak! is a highly physical, extremely ridiculous, magical whirlwind theatre show for young audiences that mixes movement, visuals, and children’s voices to bring the audience on a journey through the imagination.

This project began with workshops in schools, inviting children to talk about the different ways in which they see the world and using microphones to record their answers. These audio files informed everything in the devising process and formed the sound design of the show.

Hear Me Speak! premiered at the Hawk’s Well Theatre in April 2023.
